why no air conditioning ?
We have chosen not to install air conditioning on the houseboat, in order to foster a lifestyle that remains open to the outdoors and to limit our energy consumption.
The proximity to the water, the surrounding trees, and the breeze often found on the river all contribute to comfort during the summer, supplemented by the fans provided.
On days with particularly high temperatures, however, the temperature on board may still remain elevated.
docking access & accessibility
The houseboat remains docked and does not sail; you can fully enjoy life on the water while staying connected to the shore.
Access to the vessel is via a 12-meter-long, 75-centimeter-wide footbridge. Inside, the various living areas are connected by stairs. This layout is not suitable for accommodating individuals with reduced mobility.
